About Melissa

Melissa Owens was raised in Stark County and moved to the North Canton community when starting a family. Her son is a 2020 Hoover High School graduate and current Walsh Cavalier. Melissa holds a BA in Organizational Development & Leadership from Walsh University and serves as a board member on the Walsh Alumni Board. Outside of City Council, she works for Williams, a natural gas midstream company, supporting leaders & teams across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Melissa and her husband Nick have three adult children and love hosting family gatherings in their Ward 3 home.

Member Owens currently serves as chairperson of the Street and Alley Committee.

Family

Nick & Melissa have three adult children and host many family gatherings in their North Canton home.
